More news for the hard core college basketball fan. I noticed this seemingly meaningless bit of news with a tie to Bradley.
Idaho finished 4-25 last year and Leonard Perry left at the end of the season and George Pfeifer was hired as the new head coach.
Pheifer has already signed 7 new recruits, and dismissed 7 current players. There are a couple players affected that had previous ties to Bradley. One of only 2 players invited to return will be juco guard Keoni Watson. He was offered a scholarship a year ago by Jim Les, but he opted to go to Idaho where he stood to play more, rather than to be a backup to Daniel Ruffin. Instead, Bradley had to "settle" for Will Franklin. That was one of the most fortunate turn of events for Bradley in the recent past.
The other player is freshman forward David DuBois. He is from Wisconsin and was at one time listed as a Bradley recruit. I don't think Bradley was ever serious about him, and they may have dropped him when they got a committment from Ray Brown.
