  • Bradley on Probation?

I dont have a link, but my sources tell me that Bradley will be put on probation for the Will Franklin/POB mess. If anybody has any more info please share.
    Can we start winning soon?

Oh my, POB leaving... Probation... Any more great news? The press release did not go into great detail and most probations (not all) mean everything basically stops. No recruiting. No postseason. Is this a case of NCAA thinking "hey we have a chance to squash the little school and put them back in their place so let's do it." Would Duke get probation? Doubtful. This just blows. Welcome back to reality Bradley fans. Next year becomes meaningless, and what recruits want to go to a school that is in trouble with the NCAA?

Where does it say no postseason?

It doesn't, but probation usually means no postseason.

We will be able to play in the postseason. All we lost was a few recruiting days wich is not a big deal.

If the penalty is only that then I take back my previous post and ask "who cares and so what?"

Exactly - Bradley got the 'pass' on this.

The NCAA recognized Bradley HONESTLY made a mistake.

Probation is a sanction, which means only that you are being watched much closer than usual for an allocated period of time. During this period other sanctions may be put in place for portions of or the entire duration of the probationary period.

Other sanctions include certain restrictions (in BU's case this year, the loss of nothing more than recruiting days) and revocation of certain privileges (such as the loss of postseason).

But probation is not either of the latter two specifically.
