All points mentioned already but a couple more on DC. Tonight was probably the most aggresion and foot work he's showed. Usually down low he'll just catch and shoot but tonight he actually moved with the ball to get a better shot. Also his missed dunk seemed like it went 50 feet in the air, had plenty of toughness on that one. He has also shown great ability to set screens which seem to be used on almost every possession. Also, I couldn't tell from my end of the court, but I think the crowd thought DC was going to post up a 3 as he turned toward the basket from near the 3 point line and the crowd chuckled or gasped. I wouldn't doubt he could drain a few 3's though, he's got a nice soft shooting touch. I look for DC to get in a good summer bigs camp and contribute solid minutes next season. Hopefully some solid minutes with DC and AT playing at the same time. Dub them the twin towers of BU sort of like the twin towers in downtown Peoria LOL.

I was proud of all the seniors last night..............they really left it all on the floor in their last home game! You could see with Ruff from the outset that he wanted his last game to be something special, and Salley just put his body on the line! JC was JC squared.

Way to go seniors! One more win to complete a fantastic career!

        You are right.
It was announced after the game last night that the attendance of 9014 was the largest attendance at any post-season game in Bradley's history.
However, Dave Reynolds points out at the bottom of his column today--
The highest postseason Carver Arena crowd was in the second round of the 1994 NIT when 9,940 saw Bradley beat Old Dominion 79-75.

        So I corrected my post.

Great game by the seniors. Winning their final home game at Carver is a great way to go out.

DC most have had a great practice on Tuesday to have earned 20 minutes of playing time on Wednesday! I could go on forever on this subject, but I already said most of it 20 games ago when he was benched around the Butler game.

Maybe I just missed this, but did anyone mention the fact that Anthony Parker was part of the video intro? Really great to see AP on the board. It would be even better if we could get him back in person sometime although it may have to wait until after his playing days are over.

The best game DC has played as a Brave and I liked it. I have been critical of him but have also said you never know how much a person will improve from 1 year to the next and this tournament has proved it. Has the CBI been great for this team? All one has to do is look at how much we have seen DC improve. Have heard all year that he has to realize the fact that he can do this and that he can go 1 on 1 against other players and he has proved that especially w/ his "airball dunk". It is like the light went on and he said they can't stop me anymore. The other thing I liked was DC & SS in the game at the same time as that really brought some size to match up w/ Tulsa'a size and it was like it took Jordan completely out of the game. As soon as Jordan did something inside we brought DC in and they just forgot about going to him and at the end of the game when MS was in they only went to Jordan a couple of times.
A great effort by the whole team last night and needless to say we will need it in T-town Friday night.
Go JC and company bring home the trophy. You have made P-Town proud of you and we are so glad you and DR stayed home to play, only wish some other local kids would realize the benefits of playing in Peoria and jsut stay home. Maybe not one of the big conferences but beleive me you will not be forgotten here in Peoria anytime soon.
You guys are the best and it has been a great pleasure to watch you for the last 4 years.

IMO, DC deserves his own thread about last night's minutes. I have been on him for most of the year, but last night he showed us all something.
                  Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

Good, fun game to watch. Jeremy Crouch has easily emerged as Bradley's best player. Good for him at the end of his career. Nice production from Collins. I still don't know what to think of him.

That is how I always think Daniel should play--and Bradley is better when he takes less shots. Run the offense, create, shoot less. He did that. When he is like the third option Bradley is a lot better. And last night he was behind Jeremy and Andrew.

BU needs a shooter for next year. Not having Jeremy will hurt more than not having Daniel. I also like the full court press. Why not do it more?

Friday should be a close one.

IMO, Bradley needs to put the full court press on Tulsa Friday night. I think we have the better guards and more depth. Also, get their bigs to wear down in a faster paced game. AND, I think a faster pace game gets easier open looks for JC in transition.
