I thought we played a very consistent game tonight. Answered every run that they tried to make. Really the only negative I have from this game is the freethrow shooting. We have to get better or Friday could be ugly. Really liked what I saw from DC tonight, I think that speaks volumes about the benefit of this tourney.
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

        Nice game...Congrats

As a long time TU fan who goes back to the MVC days, this was a great game! Although I rooted hard for TU, this was a great game and a pleasure to watch.

You have a great, well coached team. The next game should be a lot of fun to watch.

I thought we had more than 9,000 at last years 1st round NIT hosting Providence.

I was thinking the same thing. I looked at the box score for the providence game and it shows the attendance at 8304.

I thought we played a good game, also believe that Tom O"neil refereed his worse game of his career as T.Wilson got undercut on an alleyoop and he stood there and made no call which is when the fans booed , I only hope we get a fair shake in Tulsa like they got here in Peoria, it was a great way to end our home season , D.Collins is giving great effort which in turn has made him a lot better player, now Will Egolf needs to do the same as he has the talent but needs to mix it up more under the basket.

My favorite part of the game was the "airball dunk" in the first few minutes.
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

                        Story from BUBraves.com
PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley senior guard Jeremy Crouch scored a game-high 20 points, including a dagger 3-pointer with 2:03 left, leading the Braves (21-16) to an 83-74 victory versus Tulsa (24-14) in the second game of the inaugural College Basketball Invitational Championship Series in front of a CBI best 9,014 fans Wednesday night at Carver Arena.? After the teams split the first two games in the best-of-three series, they will meet in a deciding game Friday night (7 p.m.) at Tulsa's Reynolds Center.

                          seven feet

One of the biggest stats of the game that jumps out at me is DC??™s 20 minutes! Like someone said that speaks volumes about the benefit of this tournament. If DC can improve his D then he can be a big contributor next year. I wish he would become more physical on D and jump! I know he??™s 7ft but sometimes you still need to jump, especially when your counterpart is also 7ft!

I disagree about DC needing to jump.. I think part of his success has been his ability to keep his feet and use position and reach to deny a good look at the basket. A lot of his early mistakes came from him jumping around like a guard in the post... His aggression has been extremely welcome, and I'm entirely on the DC bandwagon...

Anyone else love our big guys stepping out 15 feet and knocking down some shots?

It was great to watch the seniors one more time, and while JC and Ruff's excellence goes without saying, I really think that MS has endeared himself to the fans with his heady, intense play as of late.. I've become a big fan, and I love the way that he worked against Jordan tonight.
Here's the deal, Wyoming for football, Bradley for basketball.

16 assists combined for the backcourt is pretty great! I loved how Ruffin would just circle around the bigs in the middle of that zone and find the open man. JC's behind the back pass to DC, awesome.

Defensively...hmm...let me just say that we need to get better in the future at on-the-ball defense. Otherwise we're going to continue to give up wide-open shots like the second half tonight and the first half of the MVC tourney game against Creighton. When we had good ball pressure tonight, it resulted in forced passes that helped us get those 8 steals and some layups.

Nice game by the Braves tonight. It seemed like they made good adjustments from the first game, got better looks from the field, and obviously shot the ball better. By the way, I concur that the air-ball dunk attempt was my ultimate highlight of the game.

I think the ovation for Salley's hustle play in the second half might have been as big as the ones for any of Crouch and Warren's big 3s. Other than Crouch's nifty behind-the-back pass, I think that might have been my favorite play.

While a few were bobbled, I liked to see the interior passing as well. Got a few easy baskets and drew a few fouls. I'll echo the hopes on Collins. If he keeps developing, that would be a big plus next season, especially because, outside of Egleseder, he probably has three inches on almost all of the Valley centers.
