As this is somewhat relevant to this board and to some of the posters, I want to congratulate the new head basketball coach of Streator Woodland High School.
The PJ Star's Lonnie Schwindenhammer reports this morning that Streator Woodland has hired as new head basketball coach Rodney Knuppel, who previously worked as junior varsity coach at Dee-Mack.
Streator is a new member of the Tri County Conference.
They have averaged less than five wins per season over the past decade, but I predict that will improve now.
