Is Williams really a bigger, stronger Lawrence Wright? Is he that long and can jump that high that quickly? Does he have a 7 foot wingspan? Will he be able to go in between guys several inches taller and take rebounds away like Wright did? You like the words "Bigger and Stronger" don't you? I guess the Bradley Athletic Marketing Department's slogan last year really worked!

Boogie was just about the farthest thing from big and strong.
He was never able to put on much muscle, which tells you how much he relied on his athleticism.

But I do have to agree with 1999 on this one.
DeAaron has been fairly succesful working with weights, and by 2007, will be bigger and stronger than Wright ever was. DeAaron can jump like Boogie and is perhaps 0.5 to 1 inch taller.

You misinterpreted my comments. Sure he is bigger and stronger, that is a given. BUT, 1999 said he is a bigger and stronger Wright, which means that he is just like Wright in all of the ways that matter and is bigger and stronger to boot. I might be considered bigger and stronger than Wright, but in no way am I Wright. To be like Wright he must not only be able to jump like him, but jump as quickly. To be like Wright he must be able to get through traffic and accelerate to the ball. To be like Wright he must be able to reach over people because of his enormous wingspan. Now, is DeAaron just like Wright or is he only bigger and stronger?

The games started last night and the Bradley kids were not there and most likely will not be playing this year. D Williams was play with the ICC kids last night.

All the Star Transport players were from Olivet

All the Star team was from Olivet and they won big. D Williams I thought really struggled all night his outside shooting did not look very good but it was the first night of play with all of his teammates.

I wonder how much kids really want to light up these events. I think I remember reading last year how ZA wasn't much. RB wasn't much. WF wasn't much but surprised he could shoot the ball.

Do we really care how they do in these summer games?

                          Do they care?

                          Frankly, I don't.

I care that they remain healthy and focused on off court training. I care if they are ready to go at the start of the season. I care how well they are playing by conference time.

I recall another poster from the other board stating "POB didn't show me much"

Yeah, these games don't tell you much at all IMO...but they can be entertaining for some.
