Cold, wet, and proud

It took awhile. A cold rain and wind were whipping all us standing in line for a good half an hour to an hour, but the fans stuck it out and got their tickets. Proud to be a Bradley fan, but even more so today. You can not beat loyalty. Go Braves!!!!

I picked up my tickets around 4:45 and only waited a half hour; the line behind me was very short so the weather is hurting ticket sales as will as having only 2 ticket windows; hopefully the next several days people will get out and purchase tickets to the game as it will be the final home game for Salley,Crouch and Ruffin , these players have worked their tails off thru a lot of adversity this season and are going to be missed a lot , I hope they realize how much of a good impact they have made for BU.

Being only 24, I don't have the years of Bradley memories that the older fans do. I began going to games during the Hawkins era, but was so young I couldn't remember them. My first memory of bradley games was when Stuckey and "Big" Ben where playing, and the early Molinari years. Having season tickets now and going to games on a regular basis I had the feeling that the Bradley fans were old and grippy (the ones that screamed "sit down" during a big run). I thought they didn't really give a **************** and just wanted to be out and to be seen. Well yesterday, me by far being the youngest person in line, I said to myself that I would rather have these old cranks at the games than a bunch of bandwagon fans that show up every once in awhile. They are the loyalist and the true fans. It just opened my eyes. They can go ahead and yell at me all they want. Go Braves!!!


The game is going to be sold out.

I "braved" the cold, wind, rain, HAIL, and the "little room" last night to get my tix. Minor price to pay to see the Braves play. Go BU!
