I don't know what you guys thought, but after watching tonights game, I am starting to like what I see in Collins. He played well, had a couple of good moves for buckets, and even blocked a shot off the backboard. I think he has added a bit of bulk, but if he really hits the cheeseburgers and the weight room this summer I look for him to be a contributor next year.

PS- I thought Singh played physical and i LOVED it!

    David Collins!

A very valuable 6 points, 4 rebounds, TWO blocked shots and some nice D without fouling!!
I am looking forward to seeing him contribute more in the future!!

He had a good game, I would have liked to see more from him this season though. Hopefully he is able to develop further for next year and be a good player.

DC looks a lot stronger and a lot more confident.

I think his arms have doubled in size in like the past 6-8 weeks.

Way to go DC - great game and great contributions the last few games. Keep it up!

Matt Salley has contributed in a different way then expected, but has contributed this season. Personally, I think he has been playing out of position all season. That said, if you look at BU's juco history, they have gotten far better production from their JUCO seniors then their JUCO juniors. I'm guessing he will be leaps and bounds ahead of where he is this year as soon as things get going next year. My guess is DC will be a consistent contributor next season along with Austin, Wilson & Cole-Scott.

I would like to see DC spend all summer in Joe Stowells driveway!

Heh, Coach is my neighbor.. I'd rebound the ball for DC, if we could get him to do that.. Anything to talk basketball with the Coach.

I agree about his bulk, my dad and I noticed during the telecast that his arms appear much larger now than they did earlier this season..

You pass the ball to him and I will play the guy pushing him in the back as Coach teaches him all those Joe Allen moves!!!!!!!!!!!

David looked settled in tonight and didn't look to be on edge about making a mistake and getting yanked. Maybe that part is my imagination ... but he looked comfortable out there after having gotten some playing time the last few games.

He played tonight like I think he would have in the MVC if his playing time hadn't been pulled by JL. Thank goodness for the CBI. If DC can log 28 minutes a game next year, similar to what MS does this year, I predict solid double-double numbers for DC.

I thought he looked comfortable and aggressive, and his combination of size & athleticism means that if he can match that with game he'd be a monster. Keep it up, DC!
