There's a thread over on Valleytalk started by a guy who claims he has heard that Bradley is working on a deal to play against Iowa State three times over the next three seasons. I had not heard anything about such a deal, has anyone else?
Some other rumbles in the Valley include:
--SIU plays this Nov. 23-26 at a new tournament in Orlando,
in a 5,500-seat arena at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex.
Other teams include Minnesota, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
--SIU's Tony Boyle's name has been brought up as possibly leaving SIU & transferring.
--And lastly, an article in Omaha about Josh Dotzler, confirms what has been suspected and stated on this board several times.
That Creighton actually did great harm to Josh Dotzler and his knee by trying to rush him back so soon for post season play after he tore a ligament in his right knee.
You can judge however you want, but here is what was reported after Josh had his surgery in Minneapolis and gave an interview with the Omaha reporter.
"the posterior cruciate ligament he partially tore Feb. 11 in a game against Southern Illinois. He sustained a full tear of the ligament while trying to come back in March to play in the National Invitation Tournament."
They have been trying since March to get the ligament to heal, but it was still unstable, and they decided to go for surgery.
Now there will be a 6 month recooperation time.
