I have a lot of interest vested in this game. I went to high school in VA and a lot of my school went to UVA. Would love to see an ACC win this season.

UVA has Mich State's and Pitt's size, but is a notch down in talent (except Singletary). It will take a great effort by our "bigs" (used loosely ) and holding Singletary under 15 pts. for us to win at their place......IT CAN BE DONE!!!!!

Not all those pages loaded for me, but where's the video of the absolute beatdown UVA got against Clemson at home? I think that UVA is a good program but if we play like we are capable of (not how we did in the first 30 minutes tonight), we can beat them. It is a tough place to play though, they do it right there, have their students surround the court. It looks like they have some size so that's probably going to hurt us, but the key is shutting down Singletary. Well, if not shutting him down, at least limiting him, he's a great shooter and can obviously get hot in a hurry.

            I'm skerrrrrred!!!! Just kidding

Should be a good one. Caught a few UVA games on TV throughout the season. Singletary's a darn good player. New arena looks awesome, too.

Tonight he had 22, 6 in the last 23 seconds, giving him his 54th straight double figure game....only 4 games under 15....three were blowouts in which he didn't play the whole game

clemson would win your conference.....and they shot 65 % from 3
and i would much rather prefer a 30 pt loss the clemson than a 15 pt loss to vcu at home, a 13 pt loss to norther iowa at home, an 11 pt loss to missouri state, a 13 pt loss to witchita state at home, and a 13 pt loss to southern illinois

This is where ignorance is bliss. Please save your smack talk for your own fan board.
Most of those losses occurred with Bradley's top player out with an injury.

And we can debate whether Clemson would win the MVC, but not here.

Talking some smack on our board? Our best player missed a good chunk of those games..
Here's the deal, Wyoming for football, Bradley for basketball.

Interesting smack talk. Kinda like the Kansas talk a couple years back. I can't remember what happened in that game though, can some refresh my memory?
This is just the tip of the iceberg...

I'm not going to lie...I'm a little nervous that it's at Virginia. Our guards can't afford to be cold from 3 point land. If the game comes down to "bigs" we're going to get dominated. Those guys have games against people like Tyler Hansborough. What would have happened tonight without the home crowd advantage of powering them through the last 8 minutes? We can win...but it has to be done from behind the 3. But then again I don't want to get psyched out about these guys, after all, they are still a CBI tournament team. Whatever that may mean.

I wasn't trying to be a jerk, and I wasn't saying that losing to Clemson should be considered a bad loss, I was just asking a question. I also saw a game earlier in the season when UVA beat Arizona at their place. You guys are a good team and it'll take our best effort to beat UVA. You didn't have to go and start talking trash, also as has been pointed out, most of those losses occured when we were not at full strength, which we are now. Finally, if we're going to point out both bad losses and good wins, we did beat #15 Drake at their place. So, take it for what it's worth ...

I've watched UVA play and only Singletary scares me the rest of the team is pretty average and their bigs are young and not the wide body big that gives us fits. Their bench is not deep especially at guard after Singletary. We will need to speed up the game and let our superior ability to run the court take over at both ends. If we can keep pressure on their play making ability and limit Singletary from taking over we will win! Oh of course play D for 40 complete minutes.

Should be great to see Ruffin and Singletary match up against each other. Two senior leaders playing in what could be their last college game. I just hope Ruffin can play D like he did the last 8 minutes against Ohio.
