Another article on why success on the playing field is very important as far generating a national university profile. I'm glad knowing our president has said publicly that she agrees with this. The numbers don't lie.

I would be interested to see how Drake is effected in the next few years. I think they will see a drastic bump of applications since it seems like every article about the surprise basketball team mentions how good of an academic school it is. Plus, the four degrees and 3.97 gpa of the Valley MVP make the school look good.1996 & 2019

As I have said here before, Stan Albeck, and Jim Molinari both told me they had to overcome this problem with Bradley's identity and location when they recruited kids, even in Illinois!
It is certainly a strike against you when you have to explain that you are a Division I school, and where you are located before you can even get in the door with most recruits.
