Seriously though, this Davidson magic can't go on forever..........or can it? I think Kansas (if they beat Nova) has the athletes to possibly shut Curry down. I'd expect a box and one on Curry by the two best athletes/defenders on the team and force the rest of Davidson to step up. I think Curry could be held under 10 points.........or not. Hope I'm wrong.
Davidson did play UNC (the best team in the country IMO) close early in the year, and I don't think they'll be blown out if/when they lose. I just think there's a significant difference between Georgetown/Wisconsin and Kansas.

I disagree. Wisconsin and G'Town are both very good defensive teams and Curry tore them apart. A ton of Curry's shots tonight were challenged.

This is very similar to the George Mason situation when the knocked off UConn in the regional finals a couple years back. Very very few people thought that George Mason could be the Huskies.

        Anything can happen

Yeah, and I'll definitely be pulling for Davidson. I just think that Kansas is a really good team and Davidson will have to play great to beat them...kind of like they did last night.

How does Curry as a Soph compare to Hersey as a Soph?

Here's an article noting that Stephen Curry has a 6-1 brother who is still in high school, and who got very little recruiting interest, and has signed to Libery Univ.
              (Ritchie McKay's new team).

The article hints that JUST maybe the younger Curry could be getting some calls from other schools about his committment.

Having seen both I would say Curry is slightly ahead of Hawk at this point in his career. Remember that Hawk played center in HS and was still learning how to handle the ball at this point in his career (plus I think kids today are just naturally more talented at this point compared to the old-timers because of the rise of Elite AAU ball since these kids were 10 years old).

That said, I think Curry is just too small at 6'1" (I think) to have the same level of NBA success as The Hawk (unless Curry converts to a PG and has the same level of success).
