  • Drake Beaten by Buzzer Beater

at the buzzer in OT, reminiscent of the BU-Drake games that were decided at the buzzer, and the Creighton game decided in OT,
but Drake goes down to Western Kentucky, 101-99.

And the on-air broadcasters made the exact same, stupid, repeated mistake of calling Klayton Korver, "KYLE Korver" about 100 times, and you have to wonder why nobody ever told them how silly they sounded making the same ignorant mistake so many times?

      what a shame
it seams like most of any MVC fan's brackets had drake in the sweet 16...myself included
Gloria: Who's side are you on?
Jay: She's my daughter, you're my wife. Let's remember what's important, there's a football game on today

STUNNED. I thought Drake could of took some better shots in OT but it is what it is. I'm just glad that wasn't BU out there. That game would take weeks to get over. Coming back from 16 points down to 5 seconds away from winning by a point in OT. Amazing.

Don't get me wrong, Keno has done a TERRIFIC job this year. But why would Drake continure to settle for 3 pointers up 96-92 in OT with under 2 to go. I know that's their bread and butter, but why not take the ball to the hole with Young? I guess that's what Keno get paid to do, and why I get to sit and watch.

I'll take 6 inches of snow up here in Chicago over being in Decatur at any time of the year.

I picked against Drake but was rooting for them to come back and then hang on at the end. Too bad. Either way, I didn't see Drake or WKU advancing past this round.

85 and sunny down here in Florida. Can't wait to hop on the road tomorrow and come back to SNOW! Global warming? It is the middle of march and it is still snowing. Unbelievable.

Sorry I'm just a little upset that Drake lost and basically ruined a good portion of that quadrant of the bracket for me.

Isnt Drake the same team that had a time out in hand against us and got an offensive rebound at home with the lead and decided to allow Young to shoot a three? Davis, yes did a very good job this season but not controling the game in situations where you can control or dictate the game is a direct reflection of a coach.

I suppose some will say you play all 40 minutes the same because thats how we always play, but not using timeouts or continuing to shoot when it isnt needed, doesnt seem to be good game management.

Drake blew it just like BU did against Creighton in the epic final regular season game.

A fitting end to their heart-stopping season. It was fun to watch them play this year, it's a shame it had to end. They'd likely have made the Sweet 16 had that shot not fallen.
