Jesse Evans was on a leave of absence since Dec. 26 at the University of San Francisco. Eddie Sutton took over as interim coach after Evans left, but he was still listed officially as the team's coach. Yesterday, USF officially dismissed him and announced they will begin a search for a new coach.
USF has been very secretive about why Evans was placed on leave of absence, or why he was dismissed with 2 years left on his contract calling it a "private personnel matter" .
