Well, no ones posted it yet but SIU's season has officially ended. AZ State handled them fairly easy in a 65-51 trouncing. SIU continued its road woes by shooting an arctic 29% on FG's. The full box score isn't up yet but SIU must of had a big rebounding or TO gain as SIU got off 15 more FG attempts than AZ State, however AZ State made 3 more FG's. Even though were in the CBI Tourney, I like the fact that our season is continuing later in March than some of the other Valley teams.

    Here is the box score--

I stayed up to watch most of this game, and it was an awful game. SIU shot 29% overall, and 23% from three. Falker and Shaw had nice games, but they got almost nothing from the rest of their team. Even their defense looked a little weak. Obviously, not having Mullins hurt. The bench produced a total of 1 point.

This team could be bad next year without Falker and Shaw, unless they can improve their outside game.

Losing both Shaw and Falker will hurt them a lot next season as they have no one that can replace their experience like they had no one to replace Tatum and Young this season, Mullens cannot do it on his own so they may be looking at a lower half finish in the Valley.

As ususal, SIU's shooting was really bad...
        29.3% from the floor, 26.3% from 3-pt

Indeed they will miss Shaw & Falker, as those two guys accounted for
31 points, 21 rebounds, and the entire rest of the team accounted for
        only 20 points (6-23) and 14 rebounds.
