    Looking Forward to the Game.

As an Ohio Bobcat Fan, I'm looking forward to our game Monday evening, looks like our teams match up fairly well, Ohio might be a little stronger in the post, but the guard match ups look even. Should make for agreat game. Our attendance was way down for the Brown game, students taking finals and really only a day and a half to advertise for the local folks. I have season tickets so i attend all the home games. Ohio Bobcats have beat alot of good teams this year, George Mason, Cornell, and Kent State which all 3 we're in the NCAA Tournament. We beat Maryland, St.Johns and New Mexico State, and we lost 3 games on last second shots all on the road to Temple, Holy Cross and Akron. Bradley also has some impressive wins so it will be nice to see how the game turns out. Good Luck and GO BOBCATS !!!!

Gman, thanks for looking us up and posting. We look forward to seeing you in Peoria on Monday. Not to dig too deep into your post, but I disagree slightly with your analysis...I think you have a considerable advantage with your two bigs...especially in "girth." On the same note, I believe that we have a considerable advantage at guard, at least on paper...I can't claim to have watched OU this year, but most of the posters on your board feel that our 3-point shooting ability could be trouble for you.

The game breaker for us is simple...most MVC teams sport a guard rotation similar to ours, some better some worse, but I don't recall any Valley team having their two top scorers that are bigs. This could end up being the difference in the game, especially if your guards keep it under control and toss it inside rather than jack up 3 pointers.

Best of luck Monday and safe travels!

        Ohio vs Bradley

If Ohio sits back in a zone against Bradley like they did against Brown when Brown made 16 three's, Its gonna make for a long night for Ohio, due to Bradleys guard play. If we play man to man its going to be a closer game. Our big man 6'8 Leon Williams is a stud he was robbed of Player of the Year in our conference. but thats how it goes. He is a handful, Ohio likes to get up and down the floor, so if Bradley likes uptempo game well this one should be fun to watch, Ohio rotate's 10 players through out the game to stay fresh. Bradley makes 9 three's a game and Ohio makes 6 three's a game thats a 9 point swing for Bradley. So yes we'll have to guard the perimeter. I'm sorry i won't be attending, but i hope its on TV. Good Luck in the game and GO BOBCATS !!!!!!

          Bradley opens as a 6-point favorite. Over/under is 140.

Looks VERY similar to Cincy. First one to 70?

There was a great turnout to get tickets at the Fieldhouse this morning. After finding a place to park, I walked into the foyer around 9:05 and there was around 60-70 people already in line. It took about 30 minutes to get my tickets and I'd say another 20 people showed up in that time. JL made an appearance around 9:15 when he came into the foyer from the gym and said "Come on, let's fire up.....we've got a game Monday night" and then said they should have had coffee available for us.

I REALLY think we can get to 9k. Maybe I'm TOO optomistic but with the additional time between games and a weekend for people to pick up tickets.....its looking good. Regular time slot and the 2 fer special will help also.

The driveway was full of cars when I pulled up around Noon also. Some blue hair was argueing about ticket prices holding up the line. Good God by two for 9 dollars and move on.

I agree and also look for at least 9k. Three days sure beats having just eight hours to purchase tickets!

I also was at the field house a little before noon -- there were very few of us there at that point, but the guy at the ticket window said ticket sales for this game were blowing the last one out of the water. 8-9k fans, 500+ students ... and he echoed the sentiments of many on the board regarding the Cincinnati game -- there may have only been 5k at the last game, but they WANTED to be there and were fabulous.

I resent being labeled "fabulous"......I was LOUD AND PROUD.

Dogs, I heard you were loud and that made me proud of section 16. I watched the game at Sluggo's here in Mesa on FSNMidwest. Guess I'll have to just listen tomorrow night.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

I love section 16.....those kids that sit in your row have turned in to some great BU fans. I have a gas with them every game. They used to be more in tune with eating skittles and junk but now they actually get loud and get involved.
