Oh my god! We have never had a 16 seed beat a 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament. But who would have thought that a 4 seed could beat a 1 seed on just the second day of the first ever CBI Tournament?! And maybe two #4's on top of that!
This could bode well if Bradley makes it to the finals. BU and Virginia are the only 2 #1 seeds left. Hopefully Bradley can get to the final 3 game series, and have 2 home games.
Since Bradley can't host the semis due to other Carver committments, doesn't that mean we would be the 3 or the 4 seed when they reseed the teams?
Utah beats UTEP...Tulsa gets another home game!!!!
Good chance I will be able to see the Braves come to town next Wednesday night in the CBI semis, although I'd rather have them wait until the final to meet!

Reminds me of the great matchups Bradley and Tulsa had during the Tubby Smith era! We beat Tulsa a couple of times during the Anthony Parker years which was sweet since Tulsa was ranked in the Top 25 from time to time.
Nice to see Tulsa on their way back up as their program has been about as bad as I'd ever seen it in recent years.
Uggh...not having our own arena is really going to scr-w us here. We very well could end up being a top seed in the semifinals but will have to go on the road. I hope it doesn't cost us a championship.
If BU wins Monday against Ohio, then we will still be alive at least through March 26, that's when the Final Four in the CBI begin play.
By then the NCAA will already be whittled down to 16 teams, and the NIT will have only 8, possibly fewer, since some NIT games will be on 3/25.
So if BU wins Monday, it will assure we will be ONE of the FINAL 28 teams left playing, and maybe even just one of the final 25 or so.
