  • NCAA looks into adding member schools from Canada

Does anyone think even the strongest Canadian schools will compete even with the tiny midmajors in either football or basketball?

Some Canadian schools could compete with the lower Div I teams like Longwood, Prairie View A&M, Savannah State, and the other 300+ rpi teams.

Canadian schools would most likely dominate Hockey and the Frozen Four.

not if they have to give up their major-junior players who the ncaa consider pros. Also a lot of the top talent in hockey is playing in the junior leagues or has been drafted and is playing in the NHL, Crosby is still 18 and Ovchekin (sp?) is 20. Not to mention that some canadian kids play down here already, especially in the womens game.
