    Waking up those echoes
Cincinnati, Bradley to meet again at scene, if not site, of their primes

Kirk Wessler's blog from Saturday's sale of seats at the Fieldhouse- includes a brief video--

    I have a question........
Why does little or no film exist of Chet Walker playing basketball for Bradley.
Unless something has changed recently, I have heard from "unofficial archivist" Dave Snell, that he has never been able to find film of Chet playing for BU.
Of course lots exist of Chet playing in the NBA, and I turned over a bunch of film I had acquired that showed a bunch of Bradley games from 1960 to 1967 (and passed it on to Dave) but none of it was Chet.
Does anyone have a guess why the film of Chet would be so noticably scarce?
Maybe an effort here on BradleyFans can lead to some new discovery?

That surprises me as well. Especially with Coach Stowell on the staff back then. I remember talking to Coach Stowell a long time ago about Gene Melchiore and the NCAA team that Stowell was on and Stowell mentioned he had game films of that team.
      Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™
