He will finally get to see what it is like playing at Bradley. I have no doubt he would have been a big contributor here. He hasn't done much this year for Cincy.

I really don't know if he would have done that well with your team. He likes to stay on the perimeter and shoot from behind the arc. You already have a bunch of good perimeter players. He doesn't have the body or the skills to be a true post player. He comes off the bench and sometimes adds some spark, but he really just isn't as good as we thought he would be.

BU went hard after him.....many were upset when he went elsewhere. As we say here at BU...youjusneverknow.

Here is what Cronin said about him earlier this season.
"He's become a role player," Mick Cronin said, "which is probably what his talent dictates playing at the highest level in the Big East. Marcus struggles shooting the ball and he doesn't have great athleticism. "He's tried to help us in any way he can, which I think embodies our team's attitude this year, but there's obviously a lesser role for him. There's a reason why we're better. It's because we're not playing a 6' 6" guy (actually Sikes is listed at 6' 8") at center who's not very athletic. We're using him in the role he needs to be in coming off the bench."

Typical jr. college inside recruit that never reached his potential ; it is so much harder for jr. college players that have not been coached well to succeed in d-1 basketball because it is much more of a physical game then what they are use to playing, his coach does not have good things to say about him which makes you wonder why he even recruited him.
