The web poll question on ChicagoSports.com is currently asking if BU or SIU will win their respective postseason tournaments. What a shafting to ISU!

Do you guys think Egolf or Collins get any PT? I mean, it's not the NCAAs or even the NIT. You'd like to win and should try to win, but I still think it'd be nice to get them some PT in a real game before next season.

I would like to see Egolf especially get some minutes early in the game. Regardless, I think having Warren and Egolf back in the lineup will allow everyone else to get more rest during the game, and that will help a lot. If Les wants to try and win the CBI with Ruffin and Crouch to cap their careers at BU, I have no problem with that. I think we have a real shot at winning this tournament. If Les wants to play Ruffin and Crouch but give tons of minutes to the guys we will be playing next year, I have no problem with that either.

There are some viewers online from the Cincinnati area, as judged by IP addresses, but none have yet to post.
            A little shy?

Hopefully we learn some lessons from the Creighton game... Come out confident, intense... and play some seriously improved perimeter defense.
Here's the deal, Wyoming for football, Bradley for basketball.

I'm a Cincinnati Bearcat fan but also follow the Braves closely. I love this match up and I plan on making the drive from Cincy to Peoria tomorrow afternoon for the game. Unlike some, I know that UC should not be considered better simply because they play in the Big East (although the tough competition every game is a plus). I also know how hard it is to come into Carver arena and win (I remember the great non conference home winning streak the Braves had going on last season). Either way, I'm hoping for a great game...but of course after all is said and done...I'll be rooting for the Bearcats to come out on top!

Hoopsfan1, we hope you enjoy almost all aspects of your trip to Peoria,
but unfortunately we cannot hope you guys go away with a win.

Ticketmaster says that tickets go on sale at 1201a. Is this true?

                      Sorry Doubters

I am sorry doubters but these two storied programs need
to meet again. If lightning struck and Mr Chet Walker and
Mr Robertson could meet at center court for that last time
that would mean a world to me. Why not? Let's blaze some
old trails and talk about new beginnings.
Friends, it's just basketball and Cincinnatti and Louisville are
                      our history and our friends.

Not sure I have ever seen any tickets go on sale at 12:01 am for any event. Probably some sort of error. But you could try it and see if you get ahead of everyone else.
The announced start of tickets to general public is 9 am Wednesday.

                          Wow that's a great thought...
If they had enough time to set it up, would it be possible
to get BOTH Oscar robertson AND Chet Walker to come to Peoria
and be present for the game and have a pre-game ceremony at mid-court?
I suspect maybe it would be unlikely, but it gets you thinking!

I wouldn't mind seeing us sign a series with you guys. The only problem is that we play an 18 game conference schedule which really limits our OOC scheduling. We also still have a few games left with Memphis and UAB that we owe as part of our exit agreement with CUSA. Add in an early season tourney and you are down to about 6 games to fill.

Subflea, just for what it's worth, MVC teams play an 18-game conference schedule also.

Didn't know that. I hate it. We had a 16 game schedule until this season. They wanted every team to play each other once, and you play 3 teams twice. It really limits scheduling OOC.
