I am surprised Tom Penders' Houston team didn't get an NIT bid and they fell to the CBI, anyways..........

I would love to see Bradley meet Houston in the 3-game final round!

Seems the two guys who bitc*hed the most over the last couple years about the NCAA and bids (Penders and Maryland's Gary Williams)
both got raw deals this year, with Houston getting left out of the NIT with a 22-9 record, 3rd place in CUSA,
and Maryland was sent on the road for its first NIT game!

Houston probably would not have been 'left out' of the NIT had they not chosen to play in the CBI on the Saturday prior to the NCAA and NIT selections. My guess is that they probably would have gotten in considering they finished well ahead of both Tulsa and UTEP, and only 1 game behind UAB in C-USA.

        Onward and Upward!

did i hear them right tonight that we automatically have to play away in the first championship game? that doesnt seem right even though we are a number 1 seed and the only number 1 seed left... this tournament is ridiculous

Yes, that is what the announcers stated. BU plays on the road Monday, 3/31, and at home Wed. 4/2. Then on the road Friday, 4/4 if needed.

As a few people STILL rail about the CBI and BU's participation I asked this question...at the start of the year would you like to have had Cincy, Virginia, Tulsa and Ohio on your sked instead of any 4 others you played of your choice.

I agree dogs....this CBI tourney has been a blessing and has made this season a joy to remember.....this has really been fun and its nice to see a full strength BU squad hit the court giving fits to all! I always thought this team was a top 50 team and they are starting to prove it! It would be nice to get a recruit or two from this tourney run!

Yes.....we are seeing what a healthy BU team can do. When you bring our injuries up many just say "excuses"....but it is so evident what this team can do when healthy. I really believe we are the Valleys #2 and POSSIBLY the #1 team but will defer that spot to Drake and there incredible run.

I'm hoping the kid that almost committed to BU and is looking at Kentucky/Mississippi got to see the game against Virginia.

It would be nice to get one or two recruits into Carver on Wednesday as well!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

So much for that ... But I think it'd still be good to get a recruit or two to the game on Wednesday it should be a great atmosphere.

to those good folks that anted up when KK
made the call. Looking to a third 22.

                            wingrider,
You must not have been following the thread titled "When".
If you were, you would know that Bradley's possible 22 wins won't really be like 22 real wins because it took them more games to get there. So the fact that they have breezed into the finals of the CBI means nothing.
