Yes, the same Big Easy that hasn't beaten a Bradley team in awhile...
And that includes Big East Champ Pitt
Bradley hasn't played against the Big East in forever, minus the NIT game vs Providence...a team who barely even qualified for the Big East tourney this year! Be careful what you wish for...and don't call out one of (if not the top) conference in college basketball year in and year out.

Huh? Why doesn't Providence count? We've beaten Pitt, DePaul (twice), and Rutgers in addition to Providence. Until the Big Least wants to stop ducking the MVC, I think it's more than OK to call them out.

Agreed! And I forgot about the ARS kicking we gave Rutgers in Chi-town

I was talking recently in 2007 and 2008! Well all know the 2006 team was awesome...they could have beat numerous opponets that season! But in the recently...dont talk about the Big East... Depaul and Rutgers didn't even make the Big East tourney this season! Try a Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette?

Not true, we also beat Rutgers and DePaul from the Big East last year. Kinda went 3-0 against them. The best teams in that conference are very good, but the conference is not consistently strong.
EDIT - Oops, took so long to make this post, that I kinda missed all the conversation that said the same hehe.

Not playing a Big East team in 'forever' is a little different than not playing one in a year. Also, teams like Georgetown, Louisville, and Marquette avoid playing teams from the MVC like the plague. So until they feel like scheduling us, I will call them out.

Ok, one year yes and the 2007 season they played 3 of the LOW end Big East teams. Be realistic. And true they won't schedule MVC teams...bringing in teams that are not as 'popular' draw smaller crowds than bringing in another BCS well known school. And they are supposed to win those games...so if they win no big deal but if they lose then they are highly looked down on. Georgetown would much rather play a mediocre Syracuse team this season than an SIU or Drake...a lot for money purposes. I don't blame them.

I am being realistic. I'm not sure what you're getting at. Whenever we've had the opportunity to play a Big East team in the last 3 years we've won. According to your logic, the wins against the Big East teams we've played 'don't count' because they're not against teams you perceive as being superior. Typical BCS elitist banter.

Very good point BradleyBrave. Very true. Well...minus the BCS elitist banter...while it is THE best mid major conference for basketball...the MVC doesn't rank close to a conference like the Big East.
