Well, I can't say I didn't expect this. However, with ISU the clear second place team in the Valley, this should be no shock. SIU should be happy they're in the NIT with a mediocre 17-14 record, albeit with a strong SOS.
But the thing that bugs me the most about this year's NIT tournament is that every game is on one of the ESPN channels. Why couldn't they have done this last year when Bradley beat Providence in the first round?!
