Here is the Hoopscoop rankings of recruiting classes for 2004.

Bradley was #186. They did not include Daniel Ruffin, who had actually signed the previous year, and Tony Bennett and Lawrence Wright, who signed late (Hoopscoop is notorious for leaving late recruits out). They also rank Patrick O'Bryant as 6'10" and a 2 (out of 10) point recruit.

Here is their 2003 rankings by conference. Bradley was the #1 ranked team in the MVC in 2003.

Yes, well I think that those rankings speak for themselves.

I like this quote from Andrew:

"Right before I committed, I was starting to get interest from a little bigger schools like West Virginia and Oklahoma," he said. "But it just felt like Bradley was the right place for me."

Flipper, unfortunately, the recruiting class for BU that everyone talks about is for the next two years. Based on what we have coming in next year we are mediocre, at best. Our class for the following year should have us ranked very high, however.
well, ayt least we know coach les is a good recruiter and we do have some excellent players coming into the program. it is not like this past season was a fluke.

                  A Dub Camp MVP

Found this on A Dub..............Think we got a winner here

                  2005 Cage Scope/High Potential "Blue-Chip" Basketball Camp
                  Session One
                  June 26-30, 2005
                  Georgetown, KY

There was a lot of talent in this division with several players making good impressions this week. 6-7 Sr. Cameron Thoroughman (Portsmouth Clay OH ) was named Camp MVP and appears to have a big time future ahead. Thoroughman has unlimited range on his jump shot and has the ability to get to the rim. 6-3 Sr. Aaron Dunaway (Lexington Henry Clay KY) continues to impress with his ability to nail the long-range jumper. Dunaway is a smooth operator who prefers substance over flash. Dunaway was named co-Camp Runner-Up MVP along with the smooth shooting 6-5 Sr. Andrew Warren from Indianapolis Brebeuf Jesuit IN.

I found a ranking by Hoopscoop that places Bradley's recruiting class at #208 in the country and 5th in the Valley. It may not be completely accurate, but Bradley's recruiting was hurt by their extra weeks of play.

Some solid and good recruits want to play right away. Some of those that wound up at other schools (including MVC teams) filled voids and expect PT right away - whereas, if they had gone to BU, they would have had to wait or get limited time.

I am not saying this about all recruits at all schools.

Andrew Warren started the Indiana-Kentucky All Star game last Saturday. But what might have hurt his scoring stats, he started at the forward position, instead of guard, which he played in high school.

AW scored 6 points, and had 3 rebounds, and had a team-high 3 steals. Scroll down to near the bottom--
