it's not like they've even been offered an invitation yet, but after Missouri lost in the first round
of their tournament, Athletic Director Mike Alden issued this rejection of any bid to the CBI.

I don't get it, I mean, yeah, it ain't the NCAA or NIT, but it's better than nothing, right?

I also don't understand this statement from the article:

"Among Alden's objections: Host schools in the tournament, which is being organized by the New Jersey-based Gazelle Group, are being asked for a guarantee of $60,000"

So, is the tournament is asking for $60K from the schools or are the host schools are asking for $60K from the tournament? It's kind of unclear, isn't it?

I believe they're asking for the schools to guarantee a gate of $60,000. With that being the case, I think BU is a shoe-in. We'll put 8K in the stands easily, especially with a name opponent.
