Here is an update on Tony Bennett--

After leading the Finnish 1st Division in scoring with an average of 37.2 points per game for the first half of the season, tony was moved up to Tarmo of the Koriisliga (the top pro league in Finland).
After 14 games, Tony has scored double figures in all but 1. He is averaging 17.6 points per game, 5.9 assists per game (would lead the league if he had played enough games), and 4.2 rebounds per game.
He has helped Tarmo turn their season around and they are now in a tie for 5th place in the 12 team league.

I like Tony Bennet. I am sorry I could only see him play in Peoria for two years.

        Loved his "fire"!

His "celebration" of personal/team accomplishments coming to light in the 06 season will never be forgotten in my mind.

My interaction with him at the Sports Banquet along with some of his family members there to enjoy it as well... talking with them... Tony B goes down as one of my fave players at Bradley.

It may have only lasted less than 3 minutes, and I know I have a lot of fave players, but he is personally up there for me.

Good luck Tony! Come back for a visit when you get a chance!
