Patrick O'Bryant in D-League-- Bakersfield

Even though it's the D league, those are some pretty sick numbers... I suggested Minnesota because he's a Midwestern kid who went to high school in the state (e.g., the Lebron/Ohio factor), but there are probably 25 teams in the NBA who could use a promising 7-footer... Houston would make sense in the short term if he wants to be a backup, though he'd be stuck behind Yao in the rotation for years to come.. In Minnesota he'd get floor time, he'd be able to focus on defensive responsibilities, and he'd probably get a lot of open looks when Jefferson gets doubled up. (I'm not a T-wolves fan, just thinking in terms of what would be good for POB).
Maybe the Celtics, playing next to KG, rotating in and out with Perkins, and letting Glen Davis play the 4? Might be a way to get another ring to go with the Sweet 16 rock. Here's the deal, Wyoming for football, Bradley for basketball.

Another game, and another good performance by Patrick.
The Bakersfield Jam won Saturday, 109-108 over the Utah Flash.
POB had 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks.

Me too, 06. It's all selfish, but would love to watch POB on the Bulls. I do think he'd be a much better fit than Aaron Gray.

Thursday's box score.
What does Patrick have to do? Also they've won 3 in a row to move to 10 - 34. He's making a difference.

He would be best to play for a team like San Antonio coming off the bench with TD playing the 4. San Antonio runs their O through their bigs and POB then can learn from one of the best. POB is not ready to start in the NBA just yet! There's a huge difference between the D league and the NBA.
Other teams that would be good for him but it will depend on cap space:
Detroit
Celtics
Memphis
Seattle
Dallas

Patrick continues his great play with the Bakersfield Jam of the NBDL.
He had 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 3 blocks to help lead the Jam to another win.
