If this has been on another thread, I apologize, but my daughter, a Drake freshman, just called with the news. I don't see it on the Sporting News site yet.

I hope it's the first of a few such national honors for Keno. Anyone know when the Valley last had a national Coach of the Year? I should know this.....

Wow! That's something in his first year........very deserving. However, now there's nowhere to go but down at Drake.

I wonder which BCS elite will come bearing gold for ol' Keno? He's a great mind.......but can he recruit? His old man had some problems recruiting in his later years as well. Might Keno end up in the B-10 (IU)? Might Keno be the next B. Web? Only time will tell.

But, like our own POB you gotta go when the gettins good and it don't get no better than this for ol' boy. I say he jumps on the cash (as he should and as I would) and leaves Drake now. If he doesn't he may have many regrets.
