Hopefully the committee feels the same way and doesn't keep a team out because of a fluky early season loss like that!
I hope you enjoy watching Kentucky in the NCAA tournament.

Unfortunately they will be in along with Ohio St and Syracuse. And the committee will probably find a spot for the 8th place team from the Pac 10 as well!

Well, I don't care as long as ISU gets their invite as well.

Sure the BCS bubble teams have some bad losses. BUT, ISU loosing by 30 today opens the door for the committee to put in a BCS team to the tournament instead of ISU. This loss forces the committee to dig deeper into ISU's resume where there are some obvious flaws.

BCS bubble teams may have bad losses...but they also have more impressive wins on their resumes that help to offset those bad losses.
You may think that winning against SIU, Creighton, and Wright State gives ISU all the quality wins they need to get in, but I doubt the committee sees it that way...
Look at Kentucky, for instance...They have an RPI of 50...and yes, they have a bad loss against Gardner-Webb...but guess what the committee is going to focus on in their resume...They have quality wins over Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Mississippi, Florida, and Arkansas...and they are 11-2 in their last 13 games...ISU can't come close in those areas.
They will absolutely get in ahead of ISU...I still think ISU will probably get in...I just don't see how anyone could call them a "lock" at this point. A lot of bubble BCS teams still have multiple opportunities to get quality wins in TV games this next week...ISU had their last chance to get their only win against an NCAA team and they wet the bed in front of a national TV audience.

            I am an MVC fan

I am an MVC fan, but a Bradley fan first, which means really don't like ISU. And it would be really sweet to see ISU get bumped into the NIT, where they belong. I would rather have 1 team from the MVC if the second team is ISU. Drake will be a 5 or 6 seed. If they play like they did today, they should win at least one game in the NCAA. Problem is that they now have almost 2 weeks off until their next game.

I think ISU will be in the NIT. The Valley took a step back this year, but I think it will step up next year.

                ISU's biggest hope:
It seems that for the most part the committee usually rewarded championship game appearances, but never took much into the actual W or L unless it meant an autobid that had to be included.
(Possibly because it is impossible to seed based on wins for the B10/B12 tourney that closes <1hr before the selection show). BU stunk up the 2nd half vs SIU 2 years ago, but still got in...

That's a good point. Before the game, I thought we looked pretty solid, but that bad second half had me a little concerned up until we got announced on Selection Sunday.

I think ISU still gets in but they'll be one of the last in.
