Navarro plays one of the toughest schedules among junior colleges with games against reigning national champion Midland (27-3), Temple (27-3), Tyler (25-2), Lee (the school where the latest Illinois recruit Dominique Keller plays), Kilgore, Paris (23-4), Weatherford (24-5), South Plains (23-5), Odessa (27-4), Lon Morris, and almost all of these schools, they have to play twice or THREE TIMES because they are in the same conference, and now have to battle it out in their postseason Regional Tourney.
Several of these schools are in the national rankings (Tyler, Odessa, and Midland are all in the Top 10).
Even Though Navarro was about a .500 squad, they are probably stronger than a lot of jucos elsewhere with better records, since they played the toughest competition.
Navarro beat Paris, Kilgore, Lee, Weatherford, Lon Morris, and played within 5 points of Temple, Midland, Tyler (twice), and other top opponents.
