Just went through a media guide that lists every player and their hometown in BU history and nobody from B/N. Kind of surprising. But I did find one dude from Mackinaw! Lee Redard played from 1939-41. Anyone remember him?

RIGHT
Although one night I think I played pinochle with him, in a fox hole in France. We were over there winning The Big One!
Before Bradley -ISU was The Big One.
BU has had players from Lincoln, Springfield, Joliet, Chicago, Niles, Indianapolis, Brimfield, Manlius, East Peoria, and Metamora.............but............
Nope...nobody I know can recall anyone from Bloomington playing for BU.

Dana Dunson (BHS), Dodie's uncle, played at Drake in the early '80s. Ron Curry (BHS) played, I think, at Marquette. Jim Crews (UHS) played for The General at Indiana. There are probably others, but these are the ones that leap to my ancient mind.

Didn't Jonah Batumbze play a year at Northwestern? What about Brandon Holtz at ISU?
Sure, there are Bloomington kids playing D-I ball like Holtz, and even Justin Safford at Missouri and Justin Bocot at SIU, but the topic is how none have ever played at BU, and nobody seems to know of even a single one in over a hundred years of basketball.
I have almost every Bradley yearbook going back to 1901, and many don't mention where the players came from, but some do.
There are kids from Alta HS to Waukegan, from Toulon and Tremont to Brimfield and Belwood, but I can find none from Bloomington or Normal.
