Top uncommitted high school senior in Illinois commits

Dion Dixon, a 6'3" guard for Crane High School, committed today to the University of Cincinnati.
His stock has risen dramatically lately, and he is rated in the top 5 in Illinois class of 2008 by many.

I haven't heard his name associated with Bradley recruiting, but I have heard rumors that Illinois State was recruiting him, even though I am not sure they have any more scholarships.

Story- it reports that he has not yet passed his ACT.

Dixon is a player who I really love. He's skilled, athletic, and has a great body. He can really shoot the ball. I think he'll be a great collegiate level player and will have a great shot at playing professionally, especially in the overseas ranks. He's only about 6'3" and isn't a true point guard so that limits his potential but I could see him having a Dwyane Wade type impact. He doesn't play with the same energy level but has a similar skillset that Flash had at that age and is a better shooter. Look out for this kid. Personally, I don't know if Mick Cronin is the best coach for him (or any player for that matter) but I believe he has the ability and work ethic to be a star in the near future.
