"I like Iowa a lot," he said. "I also like Wisconsin and Purdue. Iowa, Wisconsin, and Indiana have offered, but I really don't know what their situation is right now."

There were reports that Harrison Barnes had already verballed to Greg McDermott and Iowa State even before his freshman season, while he was still an 8th grader. But of course, such a commitment is meant to get broken, since he can't sign a LOI, so now Barnes is shopping around.

Notice he never said he liked BU in this article. He mentioned Illinois, IA, Wisconsin and Purdue but not little ole BU. Clearly has a BCS mindset that needs to be changed LOL.

I've noticed that Prosser has not mentioned BU lately. Are we even in the picture still? I thought I saw him at a BU game earlier this year, but I agree it sounds like he has BCS on the brain!
Some see a hopeless end, while others see an endless hope.

Well, even if he did mention us or was interested, I would be surprised if the people who run these sites would really want to give us any ink. Neither BU nor the MVC have contracts with these sites, and therefore these supposedly 'objective' sites have no reason to give us any free press. I have had to personally update Dave Telep on numerous occasions when we've landed a player, and have had an ongoing email 'conversation' with the people at Rivals as to why the Big Sky, MAC, Sun Belt, WAC, and Independents all have separate forums, but the MVC does not. I have yet to get a legitimate answer after over a year of 'conversation'.

But I digress - I've never thought Prosser was seriously considering us, but if you look back last year Theron Wilson looked to have Illinois and Louisville on the brain as well. So you never know.

There is plenty of precedence for this. Several recruits who were still considering Bradley in the last couple years had articles in Scout and Rivals that totally ignored Bradley. Iman Shumpert and Matt Roth come to mind, and there were others.

And I have a bad feeling that the Prosser recruitment is going to end in the same way, we're in on him early then he picks a BCS school. As I've said before, it's nice to see our name up there, but that only takes us so far.

Sure, you can walk into Iowa and get instant minutes. But do you want all of those to be losing minutes? Not much fun playing for a team that always gets blown out.

Come to Bradley. Down a #16 team on their home court.

You got to admin their beating (top 10 ranked?) MSU, holding them to 36 at home was fairly shocking at the time...
