Wow! Final Four! I'm just hoping we can eventually get to the point where we get in the tourney most every year like Creighton and SIU.

TCS can not finish around the basket but he has been playing pretty good defense and passing the ball well.

He's also our worst FG shooter (33%), FT shooter (53%), and 3PT shooter (24%) of any player that gets significant minutes. Those numbers were before playing 24 minutes and shooting 20% from the field tonight. Singh only played 8 minutes, therefore I thought it was appropriate to bring up TCS after someone else mentioned Singh.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

They are not better then us, they just happened to win the game. Who would have thought Witter would have gone off for 42 versus essentially Ruffin.

The rubber match should be a great game at 230 on Friday.

Tough loss but we had our chances.
I dont think anyone would have guessed that Witter would score 42 but we have seen pattern of guards on opposing teams having thier career high against us.

I agree with Dallas Brave in that I dont think this loss is a huge deal. It didnt effect St. Louis seeding or match up and having played them so close on thier court and killing them on ours, I think we have the mental edge in the rubber match.
              Can we start winning soon?

I think just the CU will have the mental edge now if we would have won after they had a 17 point lead we get the edge.

I think that demoralizing them on our court, and then beating them on their senior night would give us a decided mental advantage. CU is young and inexperienced, and it showed tonight. They let us back in the game with a stupid technical on Stinnet, and dumb, quick shots by their young guys. Yeah, they might have been a little more 'motivated' to start the game next week, but I think it would always be in their head that BU has beaten them twice already. I don't like the fact that they now know that they can come back from 5 down with under a minute to play against us, or can run a simple ball screen for a wide open 3 whenever they want. That was some of the worst ball screen defense I have ever seen in my life. Yeah, I am not happy right now. Put it in whatever context you like, we let a team that's not as good as we are win a game that they should not have won.

You will get over it when we win next week and take the Queen for all her money!

Maybe. I think it will take winning the whole thing for me to get over this 'kick in the n-ts' season that I have just endured. It's been one kick after another this year. I'm tired of being kicked.

You said it Brave They are not as good. Our guys will come back ready to win in St. Lou. Very hard to beat a good team like Creighton 3 times in less than a month. We were gonna loose one of em, so I'll take the loss in Omaha for the Win in St. Lou. (not Vice Versa).

Statistically we win in Omaha I don't feel as good about how we come out against them this comming Friday.

This loss did feel like somebody kicked a soccer ball in my groin though.

I am disappointed that BU loss, but thankfully, I do not feel like I was kicked in my nether regions like several others mentioned... Whew!

                            Just a couple of things:
One thing that gives me hope for the future is that we have been a decent road team this year. Players like SamM, Will, and AT can at least see what it takes to win on the road at this level.

If I am David Collins, I would have to wonder what my role on the team is for the future. I hope Collins improves, but when a walk on gets more pt than DC it should at least send a message to improve.
                            Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

One point of change for Friday, SM shoot more and TCS shoot less. TCS is 3 for 16 shooting the last 2 games, SM is 6 for 13. Use TCS as the ball handler. He's been doing great on the D & ball handling.

I was watching the game-- the "quick turnover" was P'Allen Stinnett flying through the air and either knocking the ball out of bounds or fouling Theron Wilson with a slap to knock the ball out of his hands, but somehow, whichever happened the ref called it out on Theron. I guess he thought Theron was so shocked by P'Allen's flying that it was time to just throw the ball out of bounds of his own volition.
