I am really happy with the Braves home attendance record this year of 10,115 per game......but CU has averaged 15,737 per home contest with Saturdays game probably being a sell-out that # could increase! Congrats to CU for doing a fine job on filling the stands.......now let's send them away with a loss!

      Whoo-hoo!!!!

Finally a sticky about an upcoming game. Feels like it has been ions.

Kinda eery... this is our last game of the season... and then the MVCT... geeze, there could potentially be only 1 more Matchup Sticky left for this season after this game.

      Yikes!

I was over there yesterday. I fought the urge to respond. Uninformed I guess.

I haven't seen that much filth since I grazed through the SIU board earlier in the week. It's really unfortunate that people would joke like that. A certain amount of jeering about this player or that player is all in good fun. I remember a lot of opposing crowds would try to get on Zach Andrews because of his Dave Snell coined "Jerry Springer" flip. Zach always appeared to shrug it off. I really hope the administration at Creighton, similar to what Ken Kavanagh has done at Bradley, instructs their students to keep their commenting civil and pertinent to the game.

I hope these are just the babblers on their message board, because if their fans really all got on Ruffin like that, it might be ugly. This game could be even tougher for him than when he had to address the fans on senior night.

Hopefully the Creighton fans as a whole are much classier than the ones posting on their message board.
              Go Braves!

I really think this game Daniel is going to feel like he has a lot to prove and is going to go off. I think he goes for 25 and 10 in Omaha and the Braves rally around him and pull out a close one.

I'd rather Daniel play within himself, than feel the need to "go off." I also think you could be right J Money, as I expect a good game from him, too. But the few times we've struggled with Ruffin in the lineup is when he's tried to do too much (forcing passes, taking wild shots, etc.). When Daniel stays within himself and takes what defenses give to him, he's nearly unstoppable! I want him to have that chip on his shoulder you suggest, just in the capacity that I hope he wants to "guide the ship" as opposed to "carrying the world on his shoulders."
                    Go Braves!

You are certainly right, '06. I think he needs to stay controlled as well. Sometimes he tries to do too much and gets himself in the air with nowhere to go (or taking bad shots like at the end of the ISU road game). In this situation, though, what I meant to say was he's been chomping at the bit to play for the past week so I think he'll bring a lot of energy and enthusiasm while hopefully staying in control like you said.

All I can say about Creighton fans is the behavior of a few 2 years ago at the MVC tourney was as classless and obnoxious of behavior as I have ever seen at any event ever. I suppose not all Creighton fans are as classless as those fans at the MVC tourney but then again maybe a majority of their fans are equally classless. ** the fans were directly above the BU section in a box **

Of course for years there were only about 30 CU fans who even bothered to show up at the Tourney, so I suppose most are nothing but pure bandwagon and have no real clue about the game or sportsmanship.

I don't think the CU fans are really that bad. Met a few of them at the Lou over the years. I think SIU and ISU take the cake as far as obnouxious posters but I'm sure they feel that way about us also.

Incidents like DR's can really bring out the ugly in some......one CU fan made a joke about the Danny Dalquist tragedy. I would have been embarassed as a CU fan.

I agree. With Ruff, there is a fine line there.
