I mean, we attacked the President on that matter, for interfering with the program with Wilson and Cole-Scott.

Where's the outcry about this suspension?
You need to read some of my posts because I have touched upon the lack of responsible leadership from the Administration. There is no way, that with the current information that we are reading, that Ruff should not have played last night and at least a statement should be released that he is reinstated as a player. As I have said this is about doing the right thing regardless of the heat you may have to take in the future. If you can't take the heat get out of the kitchen! Unless they have some other evidence that we do not have what are they waiting for? The game on Saturday was fine. They did not have the time to come up with all the information needed to make a prudent decision so they made the best possible choice. Now for yesterdays game I'm not sure what they were thinking, what information they had or are they just be overly cautious. I'll take a leader with guts any day over one that tries to come out roses everytime.

It is the President's job to guard the public image of the university, among other things. As long as there are people who think Bradley athletes are "thugs" who are "out of control", they will err on the side of making the public happy.

        Not ripping you SFPete
I like a leader who will make an informed decision based on facts and legal opinion who will not drag out the process which in the end will reflect poorly on everyone involved.

I'll always err on the side of doing the right thing regardless of consequences.
The problem with today's society is that IMAGE is everything mentality because the media points that out everytime.

We fans try to derive our conclusions on the incident with as many facts as we could gather. Maybe PL was under time contraints or maybe even indulged in a sip of an adult beverage while putting his thoughts to paper. Maybe he was deriving under the influence.

Obviously Phil and Kirk think like one another, too bad they believe no one ever makes a mistake and by golly if they do then we should lock them up and throw away the key; hope one day they get picked up by accident and no one comes to the rescue ; Phil is probably jealous because he could not do anything in sports because of his fine athletic build, Wessler is still crying because Bradley dropped swimming.

My opinion of PL was not hightened when he makes revealing coments about himself in his columns about "getting his pants pulled down in gym class" and the "drunken haze that was his college career".

Yeah sounds like this guy was not really into athletics now or ever. Just a big goober that get's his feeling of acceptance by being a clown.

I think to set the appropriate example, the PJStar should IMMEDIATELY suspend Phil Luciano or "deriving under the influence!"

What REALLY bothered me about the article was his complete disregard for Daniel, his family(His blessed Mother was bawling in the concouse before going to the intros), his friends, his teamates. and us, his fans, not to mention his rights.
He sees Daniel, as a baskeball player, but Daniel is more that that!
                      He is a person.
I was going to e-mail Luciano, but why?

Anyone can sue anybody for anything but Daniel has no civil case against the school no matter how the legal matter turns out.
                        Can we start winning soon?
