He showed Dan Rather how it should have been done.
By "this case" I was referring to the Ruffin incident, not the one with Dan Rather. My apologies for the confusion.

There was no information that was posted here and remained on here that provided any additional information for this case. Everything that was posted here and stayed up came from other sources of information, not people on this board doing the investigating themselves.

Scouter Sim Sim simmer down you can't take this all that serious on the "Woodward and Bernstein, the torch bearers of the truth..." comments. There is a thing as sarcasm.

As said by no other than Mark Twain

I'd love to agree with you on this, Pete (as we've done a lot lately!), but the sad thing is that tornado is serious with that comment.

Hey....it really doesn't matter, but I think the work done by a few people on local message boards has been what got the issues of Bobby Hill's ineligibility, the ISU DUI's, and the alternate explanations of the DRuff case to finally get noticed by the orthodox press.
I am convinced had the message boards not made these things hot topics, the standard press would have never gotten on the ball.
You are free to differ, but my mind is convinced.
