Man I hate losing to these guys, ESPECIALLY on Senior Night!! Can we play some defense? Not exactly proficient on offense either. Without Ruffin it's like we don't know what to do. We're running around with our heads cut off. Too many errant passes, and nobody stepped up when Crouch was guarded. We absolutely had zero inside threat, as Salley was pretty much useless and Rashad fouled out early. I want to play this team 100 percent in the tourney.

Yes Ruff would have made a difference but since we have zero inside big man O game AW would have been just as much a different maker. TW must of went to the line around 8 times and AW can play the same game. Oh well what do we expect without Ruff or AW. Here's to us running the table from here on out!

C'mon IlliB. I think the effort was better than that.

I credit SIU for picking up the HUGE win. THey have lost at lesser joints... but they got up for this one at a time when it matters.

        Bradley is missing 2 starters.

We coulda done better, but we did give it our best. IMO

It was closer than I thought it would be for most of the game. What can we expect without two of our best players.

I like that weird running scoop shot Maniscalco has. I can see how it can be deceptive. You don't know if he's going to pass out or just throw it up against the glass.

            Future remains bright with him.

No I agree it's a good effort, but I think that we threw the ball a way way too much, especially in the first half, and we have a complete lack of an inside game. I stand by my statement, Rashad committed too many stupid fouls, and you can't be a factor at the end of a game if you foul out 4 minutes before the end. I know we're missing 2 key players, but I thought that even though Crouch showed a tremendous amount of heart, he also tried to force some shots at the end when Bradley got down, he tried to do too much.

Best part about early games like this... Coach Stowell makes the full postgame show.

                LOL!

You just have to be disappointed that the basketball gods obviously hate Bradley. I'm definitely not calling Ruffin guilty until otherwise proven so, but I just hate that this whole thing and Warren's injury ever had to happen. I liked how the ESPN announcers seemed to sort of defend Ruff.

Uhhhhhhhh.....no. You beat a team missing 2 of their best players...thats not a big win. Thats a "if you lose this one, it's a bad loss".

IlliB - I am very emotionally attached to my team of my passion (college hoops).

I have also said many times that many things can ruin seasons... and I jokingly call them "Injuries and Felonies".

It is all part of the game.... and all part of the sport I have passion for.

I don't wanna cry about "injuries". And I don't wanna blame "felonies". It has become part of the game and "society". We live in a society where we make the accused the victim and allow 2nd chances.

Ultimately... I am NOT disappointed about this year's team. These kids are household names in my house. I love them in a sense. They are family to me.

I love seeing these kids develop. I love seeing them at the sports banquet and talking with them. 32-3 or 12-19.... I love them all but (maybe disappointed with the results) I love 'em all.

I'll tell you what... great effort by the guys. I hate losing to Southern because Mullins is the dirtiest player in the MVC. That guy should foul out of every game after five minutes. If Ruffin could defend with his hands like Mullins does, he'd be hands down completely unbeatable on D. I just really don't understand why Handcheck U can get away with it, game in and game out. It completely baffles me, every single time.

Anyway, I thought everyone played hard, just some shots didn't foul and we were missing a couple of our best offensive players. Sad to see it go like this, but proud of Ruffin, Crouch, and Salley for their comments and efforts.
