  • Andrew Warren update?

Okay, let's change things up a bit. Anyone have any info on when Warren might play again?

There was a report in the PJ Star that he was most likely out until after the MVC Tourney...so it looks like the Braves will need to make the NCAA or NIT if we want to see Warren again this year.

Coaches show mentioned that in a few days? that the stiches would be removed, and he'd be fitted with a softer cast, but no ETA on playing.

Thanks for the info. Well, no use rushing him back and reinjuring that hand.

Naptown24 was gracious enough to join us for the UW-M game chat and reminded us, "you just never know ..."

Here is the info from the PJ Star article about Warren...
Injured Bradley guard Andrew Warren thinks speculation that he could return to action by the Missouri Valley Conference tournament may be too optimistic.

"That's a bit too soon," said Warren prior to the Braves' Saturday night win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee. "I'm not ruling it out, but that's kind of pushing it. The doctors (Peoria surgeon Dr. Jeffrey Garst) told me 4-6 weeks. And four weeks is a week after the (Valley) tournament. "You never know, I might heal in three weeks. It's a waiting game to see how the bone responds. But what I'm hoping for is to be back for any postseason tournament in the NCAA or NIT and wearing a protective glove."

That's good. Was probably fixated on Ruffin in the suit during the warmups hehe.

Warren was there, in a suit. We win if he's available IMO.

I agree and his type of game would of exploited their D. Also Naptown was online with us in the chat room and she said they removed 3 stiches ?today? and he has another 3 to remove. So it does not look good. These injuries usually take a good 6 weeks to heal and than re-hab people. We'll be real lucky to see him this year suit up for the team.
