Considering the status of our point guard, I think I want AW to start focusing on next year. He could be a 1st teamer and possible POY candidate. No reason to rush back for this cursed season.

i agree with BB. andrew will be a big-time component of our teams for years to come. Better to play it safe now and not risk the future. I hope you heal up fast, Andrew!

I reserve the right to change that statement should DR get reinstated. I would want AW to try and play in St. Louis, and maybe the postseason if we get DR back. This team could still do something special with DR and maybe AW in the fold. Again, from what I have heard that's a long shot.

There has been absolutely no talk or speculation that he might play in St. Louis. Unless he's been lighting candles in the grotto in South Bend for the past two weeks he'll be a spectator.

True, I doubt he makes an appearance in St. Louis. Actually, I know he won't. However, I can't wait to see him play next year. He really improved his game as a sophmore, didn't have a slump, and I believe almost doubled his production from his freshman year when he averaged around 7 ppg. (I think I am right there, someone correct me otherwise). If he continues to improve he could be all-conference and be a great scorer along with Theron Wilson next year.

Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

I talked to a very credible source that spoke to AW himself that said he's out for the tourney but if we make it to any post season tournaments, he will probably be able to play.

Ideally it would be the NCAA, which would have been nearly 5 weeks since AW's injury. I would think he would be able to play in some capacity by then. Should we make the Sweet 16...well...
