Here are some more links on Matt Salley. He averaged 12.8 ppg, and 8.9 rpg during the 2005-2006 season. But he had a great tournament in the NJCAA tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas. Despite his team finishing in 8th place, he was named to the All Tournament team--
From Bob Gibbons- Sally is listed as a 6'10" sophomore (this must be a mistake)--
http://www.bobgibbons.net/secure/NewsPub/News/Stories/2001/10/11/100283190615.html
Here is an article that describes him during his senior year in high school---
Salley, a 6-foot-7, 196-pound senior forward from North Mecklenburg High School, has received calls from an impressive list of Division I schools, including North Carolina State, Ohio State, West Virginia, Iowa and Clemson, among others.
Not bad for someone who didn't start playing organized ball until his sophomore year.
Another high school article-
In this ranking he was listed as the #146 player in the country coming out of high school in 2004--

In the 7th-8th place game at the NJCAA tournament, Matt Salley scored 22 points and had 10 rebounds in a loss to Coffeyville CC, and ISU recruits Anthony Slack and Boo Richardson-

- He sounds like someone who could help Bradley the next couple years.-
His averages for the year were 13.2 points/8.8 rebounds. During the juco tournament they were 15.8 points a game and 8 rebounds a game. See the 5th paragraph.

He is #21 in this picture

My guess if a guy can bury 3's in the last 2 min. he can bury them in other parst of the game as well.
Maybe we missed the boat on Stemler...time will tell
