Assuming a worst case scenario (losses to SUI & Creighton, Northern Iowa over Indiana State, Indiana State over Missouri State and Northern Iowa over Evansville), there would be a 3 way tie for 5th place. Anyone know how the tiebreaker would be decided to determine who would be the team to play on Thursday in St. Louis?

You rang?
First, please remember that all teams affect all of the other teams. For instance, considering your scenario, SIU would likely catch ISU for 2nd, because they never lose at home. That skews the point system just in itself.
All teams would have a split with one another on the "round robin," so the tiebreaker would go to the "tiebreaker points" system.
Barring some HUGE change (as I've ran different scenarios and it just doesn't change the points enough), BU would be the 5th seed, Indiana State would be the 6th and UNI would get stuck in the play-in game.
As I stated after the Drake game, that virtually locked us into not being in the play-in game because of how many tiebreaker points you get for beating the number one team in the conference on the road (20).
I understand the whole thing can be complicated, but please ask me more questions on here or via a PM if you are confused.Go Braves!

The reason we win so many tie breaker scenarios is that we are 1 of 2 teams that have beaten Drake this year. Because you get so many points for beating the number 1 team in conference, and since no one else has done it, it makes us win most tie breakers. Also, you must assume that most teams split the season series with other teams if they are in the 3-7 range. Here's an example to help simplify with Indiana State:
Bradley and Indiana State split games with:
Bradley has split with everyone so far except Evansville which they are 2-0 against.
Indiana State has split with everyone so far except Evansville (2-0 against them) and Drake (0-2) against them.
Since the results are the same against most teams, the tie breaker point difference will come from differences in wins where Bradley has a huge tie breaker points for beating Drake once and Indiana State does not have that.
The same scenario happens for most teams in a tie-breaker scenario (except SIU who also has beaten Drake). Creighton has 2 wins against MSU and UNI but has not beaten ISU or Drake which carry the most tie-breaker points. Because we have split with everyone, we probably beat everyone in a tie-breaker scenario.

I really hope we can catch SIU to get the third spot. It would be very difficult to make it to a 2:30 game if we are the 4/5. If we were the 3/6 we wouldn't have to play until 8:30 or so. The Bradley contingent would be rockin by 8:30 at night.I don't smoke weed...I smoke dudes like you on the bball court
