  • ESPN ranks the all time worst draft picks.

All sports are included, but a few interesting ones at the top of the list.

#1 is Sam Bowie, drafted by Portland in 1984 with the #2 pick, and allowing the Bulls to take Michael Jordan with the 3rd pick. But the Blazers didn't need Jordan, they had just drafted Clyde Drexler the year before.

#3 is Joe Barry Carroll by the Warriors in 1980. The Warriors even traded Robert Parrish and the rights to Kevin McHale to get this pick!

#8 is an obscure fact, that the White Sox used their top pick (#5 in the first round) in 1985 to take Kurt Brown. He never reached the majors, but the guy the Sox passed on went #6 to the Pirates, Barry Bonds.

#15 is long time favorite of posters on this board, Darko Milicic.

I am surprised the Clippers only made the list twice.

Matt Leinart and Vince Young might become immortal -- flops. Like these guys, the 100 worst draft picks of all time.
