It's official, the PJ Star doesn't like comments that support BU players. I've posted several comments today on the BU story in support of Ruffin and that we havn't heard his side of the story yet. Nothing was critizing other posters or the victim, just the fact that we don't know the whole story and havn't heard Dans side yet. Every single one was removed, yet the ones that have put the clamp down on Ruffin are allowed to stay. Pretty sad that things have come to this for the PJ Star.

I hadn't been looking at the comments on the PJ-Star page until I read this.

There are some real treasures out there just waiting to trow around everything negative they can find... and they do so in an effort to show how much better their character is than a Bradley student who hasn't been formally charged!

Funny that it seems to be a lot of Illinois State people, who are now self-proclaimed experts about what is going on at Bradley, who are doing much of the smack-talking. They seem to believe they have staked out some sort of moral high-ground by condemning Daniel and everything Bradley has done.

I don't suppose they want to see Daniel suspended a while longer, until after they might have to play Bradley in the MVC tournament?

These are the same people who defended the non-action by Jankovich when he tried to sweep their players' multiple DUIs under the rug, then ended up with minimal or no punishment, even when one occurred after his zso-called zero-tolerance.

Always remember one thing DC -- these people are/were at ISU for a reason. If they could have gotten into or afforded Bradley they'd have gone here instead. Instead, the majority ended up at State for a reason. (kind of explains their behavior and vulgarity)

While I like Bradley alot, and actually chose it over some very prestigious schools, let's not start this fight. People go to state schools for various reasons.

In case you haven't noticed....

-- Ruffin is out on bond
-- one of the PJ Star's cousin papers, the Springfield Journal Register, has given some info that the PJ Star somehow failed to neglect.
Per the Springfield Journal Register:
"A Peoria police spokesman said officers arrested Ruffin around 5:30 a.m.
Saturday at his apartment on a misdemeanor domestic battery charge.
The 23-year-old remains in Peoria County Jail awaiting a ruling on bond.
Police say a 20-year-old woman accused Ruffin of cutting her lip as he tried to get her out of his apartment.
She was treated at a hospital and released."

So the incident involves a woman who was being asked to leave Daniel Ruffin's apartment, and did not comply, causing Ruffin to try to get her out, and she then was unhappy and alleged injury!
This is different from what the PJS has reported.
