My observations:
I was REALLY impressed with Singh, Austin, and Salley (esp. Salley)! These guys were putting forth more effort and consistency than I've seen in a game all season (granted I've not seen every game).
Sure, Salley missed some gimmees again but he was really putting in the effort -- blocked shots, rebounds, team leader.....................and Singh really impressed with his inside play and movement without the ball.
Austin showed me that he could be an absolute force come MVCT time, and particulary next year.
I really like the way this team is playing right now and, for some strange reason, have a very strong feeling that this may again be a "special" year. I really do think we may win the MVCT this year!

JC was great and so was Sam M. and all the bigs. Good game overall.
TCS had a better game than normal, my only problem is that most of his points came off of fast breaks and drives to the basket, which he probably won't get against a larger MVC team like SIU. TCS was 5-6 from 2-point range and 1-5 from 3, so he could have been better from the perimeter. I like him though and he is a great threat going in to the basket!Thinking is the hardest work, that is why so few people do it. -Henry Ford
Yeah...I've been in college for a while now and I'm pretty sure that awesomest is not a word. -Andrew E.

TCS looked quicker then quick last nite. I don't know of a player in teh Valley that can match his quickness.
Photot 8 with Austin looks like the one where he got bent in half, had his jesey stretched out 2 sizes and had the foul called on him.
Where were these refs from....my goodness they were bad.

SIU has 7 guys 6'5 or taller.

And after looking at the slideshow of pics, I have one question: which local dentist or oral surgeon is going to sponsor Sam Maniscalco's tongue for the next 4 years?
Duke and it's detractors have the "Scheyer Face"; BU and its detractors have the "Maniscalco Tongue"A real fan celebrates the successes, but also acknowledges the failures of his team.

I remembered seeing this article a year ago. Sam's habit of sticking out his tongue has been a story of it's own since his high school days--
And Dave Reynolds mentioned it in an article a couple weeks ago. See the 3rd paragraph--
