White out for the ISU game...TV, final game.....could be for second place. Don't get much bigger then that.

    Just wondering.

Because we are playing SIU... not ISU.

white-outs are a nice idea but there are too always too many people that are too stubborn to wear white no matter what. It always ends up with about 20% of the place wearing red anyway.

Out of curiosity, why have the "white-out" shirts been really thin, cheap t-shirts that you cannot wear by themselves in public, but the red-out shirts are a nice, "Hanes Heavy" label?

I like the white-outs but if you do them too often they lose their "uniqueness" IMO. One or two a year is plenty. The rest of the year everyone should be wearing RED and getting loud! I agree that SIU is a huge game for us... wear RED and let's send Faulker and the dogs off with a good whoopin'.

For the record, I was at this year's white out (Michigan State) and red out (Creighton). I think the white out was incredibly more successful in fan participation. Maybe that was because it was Michigan State, who knows. But I'd venture to say 90-95% of the arena was in white that game, while a red out (which should be much easier for BU fans, obviously) had an extreme amount of green and other non-red colors. I'd say the arena was 80% red (tops) that game.
