I hear no one mention Jassey's name. I remember when he came to BU he was being recruited by UMass and some other big schools (Big East, I think). He sounded real promising when I researched him at the time, however, I have not heard anything about him since. Any "insiders" have any info on this kid?

Gambian trio ready to hit the college ranks - Oct. 19, 2005 - by Kristian Santiago
Gambian Libasse Saye (201-F) moved to Texas to play for the Blinn Junior College, hopefully, he will able to hit the boards hard and to transfer after two years to a 4-year college. New Mexico State, where our former correspondent Rolando de la Barrera is the director of basketball operations, is not so far away, so it might be the right route for Libasse to develop his skills to join the Aggies in two years. Saihou Jassey (198-F), the athletic guard who wasn???‚¬?„?t allowed to compete in high school basketball, still made it to a good school, he???‚¬?„?s enrolling at Bradley University and he might be the biggest talent of those three players. Finally, Ismaila Njie (203-F) signed with the Florida International University , a school that produced many pro players including Carlos Arroyo (188-G-79, agency: Interperformances, college: Florida Intern.), Carlos Morban (187-G-82, college: Florida Intern.) and Raja Bell (196-F/G-76, agency: Interperformances, college: Florida Intern.).With this talent , the Gambian national team could have a chance to compete against other West African nations, unfortunately, the lack of a sponsor wont allow Gambia to field a great team nowadays.
