What it means: It's a pair of Sweet 16 teams from 2005 (Milwaukee) and 2006 (Bradley) that have made recent statements against 2008's crop of hot mid-majors. Tuesday, UWM pushed Butler to overtime at home. Earlier this week, Bradley did what no other team has done this year -- defeat Drake in Des Moines.

Key player: Daniel Ruffin, Bradley. The Braves struggled during a month while their star senior guard recovered from a sports hernia, and they played their way off the at-large board. But since the nation's active leader in assists returned in late January, Bradley is 7-2. The 5-10 spark plug is all the way back. He's averaging 14.5 points in those nine games, which is also his season average.

Key stat: Since the mid-December dismissal of leading scorer and rebounder Torre Johnson (17.8 ppg, 8.0 rpg) in the wake of assault charges, the Panthers are 10-5. They were 3-7 with Johnson on the roster."

I'm thinking more along the lines of an NIT bid as opposed to the NCAA Tourney. I too am frustrated with the BB but that doesn't mean I don't want to win this game. I realize the other two games we have left are tons more important, but I'd rather win all three remaining games as opposed to two of three.

I want to win em all too but if sacrificing this meaningless game gives us a better shot to knock off SIU then rest the starters.....get some guys like cole-scott, Austin perhaps Collins some big minutes and let em develop.

I do not believe any game is meaningless, especially to JL. You step on the court and the ball goes up your there to win the game.

Now, we are limited lately in the number of players we are playing and those players are accumulating heavy minutes. JL will I believe try to limit the minutes of JC and Ruffin, especially in the first half, but if he gets nothing from TCS, he will not play him. JL does not strike me as the type of coach to give minutes because, you earn them.

Thats why Collins wont see any minutes unless it is garbage time, he has not earned the trust of JL. Personally Id like to see Will healthy and he maybe get some minutes.

This is an important game as we need to keep our momentum going; I would like to see Cole-Scott,Austin and Singh get more minutes just to keep our other players from playing more then 32 minutes because we play on tuesday and that does not give us much time for rest.

I still think that it won't make any difference how many minutes key players log tomorrow night because when the ball goes up on ESPN Tuesday night on senior night against SIU with everything on the line......fatigue goes out the window.

"meaningless" was probably a bad choice of words. Its just doesn't have the significance or impotance of the Valley game the following Tuesday.

Momentum at this time of the year is key. We gained some steam after Drake but we have to keep playing for a new level every night if we want to get to the NCAA tournament. Every team heading to St Louis is going to have some type of fatigue, but when you get yourself in a mode like our team is beginning to do then rest is not important. You now have to play every game like it's more important than the last. You will be battled tested and you will also be ready for the war the Valley Tournament is going to bring. I understand that it is going to take a bench to win in the post-season. TCS, Collins, and especially Austin have to step it up in practice to just get into the game and when they do they have give everything they have. Winning is the most important thing now and my fear is that a loss right now, out of the conference, would be death.

I didnt realize the UMW has a huge week ahead of them after they play us on Saturday night.

They turn around and have a game on Monday with Valpo, then Thursday with Loyola and then end their regular season with UIC.

4 games in 7 days.. yikes. They will be battle tested for the upcoming Horizon League tourney.

I like these guys from up north and once we beat them I'll be rooting for them! Thier posters have been nice and their coach has added some great recruiting material for us.

It plays at Carver Arena (capacity 11,164), which is the site of the Illinois High School Association state tournaments.

This is ridiculous! I have ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN HD, ESPN2 HD, ESPNU, ESPN Classic, ESPN News, and ESPN Full Court. I also have Road Runner High Speed Internet through the same cable company. You think one would be pretty well set for this year's basketball season, but I just learned that I do not get ESPN 360!

This is a major outrage to me because I get tons of games I don't want such as Marist vs. Fordham, Marist vs. Fairfield, Southern Utah vs. Oral Roberts, Montana vs. Idaho State and Bowling Green vs. Ohio, and Georgia State vs. North Carolina Wilmington. But I hardly ever get any exciting MVC matchups.

So they are going to put Bradley vs. Wisconsin Milwaukee on ESPN 360. Internet TV is so stupid anyways, that I never even investigated it until today. That is because I can't listen to it on the radio, or even any of the conference websites. I actually like the radio broadcasts, even though I feel like I am living in the 30s and the family has to gather around a radio to hear our favorite programs. Internet TV is so stupid unless you're single and live alone. Plus, the few times I watched us on Horizon League TV, I thought I was going to get seasick from the terrible camera work. But at least I had the audio.

I am so upset that I cannot get this game on TV, Web, Radio or anything. I cannot even go to my favorite sports bar, where I can even see my favorite college football team play almost every week (even though the people there think I am their only fan in the world), but I cannot even see this interesting Bracketbusters matchup.

Why in the world would ESPN waste the resources in taping this game just to show it on some website that hardly anyone even gets? How many extra resources would it take to put the feed on some ESPN Full Court channel who's programming feed is empty at the time? And if ESPN really thinks that their stupid commercial of men (boys?) getting into fistfights over how "in the know" one is on their sports knowledge because they watch Canadian Curling events on ESPN 360 is going to get me to request their silly service...well, they are utterly delusional.

I'm sorry for the long post, I just wish that I had some way of watching or listening to the game this weekend....and I am incredibly annoyed by the whole concept of ESPN 360 (if you can't tell).

If anyone knows what I can do...please let me know. What are other out of town fans doing?
