That seems like a horrible scenario. No more NIT. NIT used to be the Grand Daddy. There was a time when Bradley chose NIT over NCAA (certainly wouldn't happen today).
Would future generations look up at the NIT banners in the rafters at Carver and think those accomplishments are from a by-gone era from a dead tournament and not really that impressive?
